What Happens to my Website When I Move to Creative Studio?

When you move your website to Creative Studio you’ll need to upload your sites files to the server your domain is assigned to.

The process to follow when moving your domain to Creative Studio:

FTP Client:

• Upload your files via FTP via our server
• We’ll send you FTP details in the Welcome email prior to the domain transfer
• We’ll supply you with a temporary URL so that you can see how your website will load
• You can also upload your web files via your browser if your site is not uploaded yet

FTP IP:

• Open your browser
• In the address bar, enter the following: ftp://username:password@servername
• It will show you the files on the server
• You can drag these files from your local computer to the browser and drop them here

All this can be done while you are in the process of transferring your domain to us. Once your domain is transferred to us, the website will be live.
